as hectic as it was sometimes (lesson learned: one person should go get or return the rental car rather than try to board a shuttle bus with luggage, gear and child), we had a very smooth and efficient trip. there were some rough days when ryan was overtired and cranky from all the travel (20 min of slight screaming on the very last flight from chicago) and being off-schedule (stayed up til 10pm one night playing peekaboo with hysterical laughing; i'll try to post the video).... and now the next week will be tough in getting back on schedule... ugh.
