suddenly, ryan has gotten tall enough to open drawers that are just above his head. plus, now he knows when he's in trouble too. put the two to together and you have this:
ryan realizes that there is a drawer that opens!
he opens this drawer full of dangerous items like scissors and nails.
mom yells "ryan!"
ryan quickly slams the drawer shut and runs off before mom gets to him.
....
still babbling, but now says "mom" although we're not quite sure he knows who he is referring to. says "da" and "ba", but skipped the whole "ma" bit.
....
fruit is his favorite food -- almost any kind -- especially watermelon seeing how it is july. he flips out at the sight of it and will protest until he gets some to eat and will point when asking for more.
....
his amount of sleep has increased both night (as expected) and day (unexpected). instead of going down to one nap, he is sleeping an extra hour during one of his 2 naps! he sleeps well through the night (almost 11h!) except when we accidently wake him when attempting to put a blanket on him. oops.
