week 41 pictures + video (pushing/crawling with car)
looks like ryan is well over his illness. thank goodness because he was pretty inconsolable for a few days.
new changes for our 9-mo old:movement: it's over for the jumparoo. can't contain ryan in it when he'd rather crawl from room to room. it was used from week 15 (see picture) - week 33 and he loved it! definitely a must-have after the "baby crack" bouncer.
food: prefers to feed himself now. we've added meats to his meals. you can't eat in front of him without offering a bite.
sleep: still 2 naps that last 1.5-2h each. if you try to put him down before he's ready for a nap, he will kick lots once he recognizes the routine (book, sqats, bed). at night, he sleeps approx 11 hours (although this could be because i'm becoming a heavy sleeper again and don't hear him)
chatter: still only says "da da da", but lately he's been saying it with vigor like he's trying to make a point and not just babbling. has bouts of laughter that result in daily hiccups.
teeth: still only the bottom two. he tries to bite me and only me for some reason. i have to supress any reaction so that he does not think this is some fun game. he bit me on the back of my ankle this past week. yes, we have teething toys.
